GMZ Dream Camp

The GMZ Education and Development Center will host the 11th Annual Dream Camp for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Here are the details for the Dream Camp:
♦Date: July 11 – 15, 2022
♦Time: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
♦Grades: 1st grade through 8th grade
♦Daily Schedule
♦♦♦Monday – Math and Einstein the Mind
♦♦♦Tuesday – Science and Einstein the Mind
♦♦♦Wednesday – TDECU and Junior Achievement
♦♦♦Thursday – Phillips 66 Experiments and Einstein the Mind
♦♦♦Friday – Dow Experiments and Einstein the Mind
Registration will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can register online at https://www.gmzedc.org/dream-camp or you can mail the form to 6437 FM 521 Road – Brazoria, Texas 77422 or fax the form to 979-798-6321.

CBISD PreK Registration

Registration for CBISD PreK for the 2022-23 school year will open on April 4, 2022.
Children must be 4-years old on or before September 1, 2022.
ALL CBISD PreK classes are held at Wild Peach Elementary.

1. Child’s birth certificate
2. Child’s social security card
3. Child’s current shot record
4. Parent/guardian proof of residency
5. Parent/guardian driver's license
6. Income verification for all family members.
7. SNAP/TANF/Medicaid if applicable
CBISD PreK is partnered with Brazoria County Headstart. You must go to the Brazoria Head Start, 120 W. Pleasant St Brazoria, and complete their registration process as well. Please call 979-798-2391 for more information.

2020-2021 School Report Card

The purpose of the SRC is to inform parents and guardians about a campus’s individual characteristics and its academic performance. Due to COVID-19, campuses and districts received a label of Not Rated: Declared State of Disaster for the 2020–21 school year.

Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) Grant Opportunity

Do you have a student who receives Special Education services?
Your family may qualify for a $1500 grant!
Supplemental Special Education Services (SSES) are $1,500 one-time on-line grants for eligible parents/caregivers of eligible students served by special education that have been impacted by COVID-19 school closures.
Families of eligible students can use the on-line accounts to obtain educational materials and resources and/or services such as additional speech therapy or other specific services.

♦enrolled in a Texas public school,
♦enrolled in PreK - 12th grade,

The CBISD Board of Trustees updated the instructional calendar
Friday, February 18th, will be an early release for students as we will be hosting UIL academic competition for grades 2-8.
The President's Day Holiday/Inservice Day was corrected to February 21
