Athletic Event Student Procedures

In a continuing effort to assure the safety and enjoyment of all Roughneck football games and athletic events, the following procedures will be enforced during home varsity football games.

  • All students 8th grade and younger must be accompanied by an adult guardian in order to attend Columbia High School varsity home football games and athletic activities. The student must remain under the supervision of that guardian while at the stadium or any other athletic event.
  • Standing, loitering, or horseplay under and around the stadium stands or any other area is prohibited. Repeat offenders will be required to leave the stadium or event.
  • All CBISD Junior High and Elementary students must be accompanied by an adult guardian in order to enter the stadium. Once inside the stadium, students with a student ticket will be allowed to sit in the designated student area.  The designated area will be Section A on the north side of the home stands.  Students are allowed to sit in the Reserved or General Admission sections with an adult only if they have the appropriate ticket.
  • All Junior High students using athletic passes must also be accompanied by an adult guardian to enter the stadium and must present their WBJH student ID to sit in the designated student section. Students are allowed to sit in the Reserved or General Admission section with an adult only if they have the appropriate ticket.
  • All Columbia High School students entering with a student ticket will be allowed to sit in the designated student Section “F” located next to the band Section “G” on the field house side of the home stands. All students must present a CHS student ID to enter the student section.  Students are allowed to sit in the Reserved or General Admission section with an adult only if they have the appropriate ticket.
  • Student re-entry to the stadium or other athletic events requires the purchase of another ticket.
  • Fans exhibiting disorderly behavior will be required to leave the stadium or athletic event.
  • State Law prohibits the use of alcohol or tobacco on school premises.
  • No fans shall be allowed on the track, or playing areas, until the CHS Band, Dancin’ Dolls, Twirlers, Cheer Squad, and all visiting players have exited the field.

Our Athletic Department appreciates your cooperation and support.

Respectfully,

Scott Moody, Principal
